That work doesn’t fund itself. But it was Elizabeth Booker Houston’s line that I haven’t stopped thinking about since. She said Black people haven’t always owned the narrative. We’ve owned the strategy.

Virginia and Maryland Clash Over Data Centers
The industry’s rapid growth has also produced growing public opposition and increased skepticism toward data centers continues to grow. A Gallup survey recently found that 71% of Americans oppose building artificial intelligence data centers in their communities, including 48% who strongly oppose them. Respondents most often cited concerns about electricity consumption, water use, environmental damage and higher utility bills, while supporters pointed to economic development, tax revenue and job creation.

They had an interesting discussion about Mayor Zohran Mamdani's video calling Benjamin Netanyahu "a war criminal." Larry Wilmore called the video "performative" because the mayor doesn't have the authority to arrest Netanyahu. I see it differently as he states clearly that he doesn't have the authority, but he did call on the federal government to treat him as a war criminal.
